WHAT IS THE EXPLORER?

The Explorer Thailand offers discounts on restaurants, activities, hotels, and other services. Users can choose between a physical book or a mobile app.


The program offers discounts up to 30% off at over 160 businesses.

HOW LONG IS THE BOOK VALID?

The book is valid for one year (12 months) from the date of purchase. We indicate the expiration date of your book on page 3. 

WHAT IS THE PRICE ?

The Explorer Hua Hin costs 2.000THB.

WHEN IS IT PUBLISHED?

It is published on May 1st every year. Regarding the number of limited editions, priority is given to the current book holders.

WHAT IS THE INTEREST OF THE PARTNER?

The Explorer is a guide to restaurant & activities discoveries. The partner offers you a substantial discount to discover their savoir faire and if satisfied, you will probably come back and share your experience with your loved ones.

HOW TO USE IT?

You just need to book with the chosen partner, specifying that you are the holder of The Explorer. Once at the venue you must immediately present your book. At the end of the visit, the partner will stamp your book with the current date. The discount will be applied as mentioned on the partner page.

WHO CAN USE IT?

The two book holders whose contact details appear on page 3 of The Explorer are the only possible users. It's up to you to choose who goes out the most!

DOES EVERYONE AT THE TABLE HAVE TO HAVE A PASSPORT TO GET THE DISCOUNT?

No, you only need one book per table, with a minimum of 1 person and a maximum of 6 people. If the table has more than 6 people, the publishers are no longer contractually bound with the restaurants. In this case, you should ask the manager of the venue you want to attend directly.

WHAT ARE THE RULES OF USE?

They appear on pages 5 and 6 of The Explorer.

WHY IS BOOKING OFTEN MANDATORY?

Booking is compulsory for certain partner in order to be welcomed in the best possible conditions.

WHY IS IT MANDATORY TO CONSUME AT LEAST ONE PAYING DRINK AT THE RESTAURANT?

The Explorer was designed to introduce you to a selection of establishments. It is not made for "on the go" meals or just to "take advantage" of the discount, but to spend a moment of pleasure and relaxation in a spirit of conviviality. In this context, it is normal to show a minimum of consideration to the professionals who welcome you by decorating your meal with at least one paid drink of your choice, without or with alcohol.

CAN THE RESTAURANT BE ATTEMPTED TO REDUCE THE PORTIONS IN THE PLATE?

The strategy would not be very clever! The discount is only valid once, the aim is to do everything to keep you loyal and encourage you to come back. For this, the quality of its welcome, service and cuisine must leave you with a good memory. A book holder is treated with the same respect as other customers, with no difference.

IS THERE A SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED MENU FOR THE EXPLORER HOLDER?

No, discounts are valid on displayed menus or à la carte, with the exception of promotions.

IS THE EXPLORER VALID EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR WITHOUT EXCEPTION?

The book is generally valid every day of the year, if exceptions apply, they are well specified on the respective pages. However, given the crowds on official holidays and public holidays. It is normal that the book is not valid on these occasions.

WHAT TO DO IF A VENUE REFUSES TO GRANT THE DISCOUNT?

First of all, the question is to ask yourself if you have followed the rules for using the book, clearly specified on pages 5 and 6, or if the restaurant has not changed ownership. If it happens, and you are in your right, you can explain the situation to the publisher who will act without delay with the establishment concerned.

It is obvious that we cannot be responsible for the management of each venue present in our book, however we do everything possible so that your experiences are successful.

HOW TO BUY IT?

The information is updated on our website and our facebook page when we approach the date. For those who are subscribed to our Newsletter, we send a letter informing you of the release date.

I WANT TO BUY IT AS A GIFT, HOW DO I DO IT?

You reserve the book in your name and you ask us to put it in the name of the person of your choice when you go to buy it at the office of The Explorer.
